Helping people who are going through a divorce and desire to lead a better life post divorce is what I love about being a Divorce Coach. I help you overcome the obstacles that are keeping you stuck and preventing you from moving forward – forward on a path that is healthier for you. As a coach, its all about the here and now. I assess where you are and where you want to be. We set goals to get you to that place you want to be in the future.

My Solution Focused Approach uses strategies that will help you visualize and design your future. I help guide you through the emotional roller coaster, financial, and legal challenges you face. I provide the practical feedback, suggestions, and support that you need – that every person needs – as they work through their divorce – from start to finish.

Coaching is not therapy and is an action-oriented process that helps you create and sustain changes in your life. I help you examine what your core values and goals are so that a specific and personal action plan can be designed – just for you – that will put you firmly on a better path as you work through this major life transition and start a new chapter in your life.

And because people are different, so are their needs. I offer individual and package coaching sessions.  

In the individual one hour coaching session, we discuss the specifics of your divorce. During that call, I offer suggestions and information. You might be in a place where one coaching session gets you more focused, heading in the right direction, and feeling hopeful again about your future. I provide a summary of session via email.

In my package coaching sessions (3, 5, or 10 sessions), each session is for one hour. You can submit information via email prior to our coaching session so it can be discussed for you choose or wait until we begin the session. During the initial session, we develop an action plan. Additional email support following each session is included and where questions will be answered. Generally, the 3 phone calls occur within a month, giving you time to implement the changes in the action plan but with enough time to process all the changes. However, we can adjust the time frame to meet your specific needs, if warranted.

The 5 call package consists of the same as above. The five calls generally over a 5-6 week period. However, depending on needs and time frame, it can be adjusted. For example, some people want more than one session per week or spread out a little longer.

The 10 call coaching package is for people who have either a more complicated divorce or relationship situation. Over a 2 month time frame, we address and work through each aspect of your current situation (divorce or relationship) and work towards the best possible solutions. Additional email support is provided as is 5 additional emails following the final coaching session.

Coaching sessions are conducted over the phone, via Skype or FaceTime. We can also meet in person when convenient. Sessions are scheduled at a mutually agreed upon at the beginning of coaching. Sessions can be rescheduled with a 24 hour notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $75.00 cancellation fee.

How are sessions structured?

Sessions are 1 to 1.5 hours in duration. It depends on the package that you choose.

How do I get started?

Simply call the office at 917-715-6583 (or submit the contact form) to schedule a free 15 – 20 minute consult. Skype is also available for coaching sessions.

How do I pay for the session?

Each session is paid for at the time of the service. Sessions are billed either on an hourly rate or you can purchase a package.
